Todd K. Boyer

Todd Boyer has represented established high-technology companies, and start-ups, retailers, and manufacturers in litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He also advises employers to ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations, including compliance with employee leave and wage and hour laws, and reductions in force under both Federal and State WARN Acts.

Todd focuses on employment litigation, counseling, and compliance under US Federal and State laws and regulations. He has extensive experience litigating and counseling on wage and hour matters, employee classification, joint employment relationships, claims of wrongful termination, harassment, retaliation, and failure to accommodate under Title VII, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights, and the California Family Rights Act. Todd represents employers in California and Nevada State and federal courts, and before the California Labor Commissioner and California Employment Development Department.

Todd has significant experience obtaining civil harassment and workplace violence restraining orders. Todd also has significant experience in electronic discovery, including working with corporate counsel to ensure proper data retention, drafting appropriate terms to search data collections, managing large data reviews and productions, as well as aggressively litigating potential spoliation issues related to an opponent’s electronic discovery.

Billie D. Wenter

Billie provides large and small employers of every type with fast, practical, and accurate legal advice and assistance to help them avoid claims and promote a more just, legally compliant, and productive work environment.

Billie’s practice includes all aspects of employment compliance and litigation under federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including hiring, discipline, termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contracts, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodation, layoffs, non-competition agreements, and other issues employers face every day.

Billie is a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators and completed AWI’s Training Institute for Workplace Investigators. Billie also defends complex business litigation and class actions.

She has extensive experience in a variety of substantive areas, including contract disputes and business torts, consumer protection, white collar criminal defense, and product liability.

Before entering private practice, Billie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard C. Tallman, U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and to the Honorable Alicemarie H. Stotler (deceased), U.S. District Judge, Central District of California.

Christina Taylor

Christina advises, counsels, and represents employers in a broad range of employment law matters arising under state and federal law, involving discipline, termination, leaves of absence, contingent labor, wage and hour compliance, reasonable accommodation, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.  Christina litigates single plaintiff, PAGA, and class action lawsuits. Christina helps employers navigate a variety of human resources issues arising from recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, and termination, and she also regularly assesses classification determinations.

Before joining Boyer Wenter, Christina worked as an associate at an Am Law 200 firm as part of the firm’s Employment and Compensation group.  During her time at the firm, Christina worked on an array of matters, including litigation in state and federal court, advice and counseling, and international transactions.
